This 76-acre park runs along the Black Fork River and is bordered by the Ashland University wetlands. It is mostly floodplain forest, buttonbush swamp and marsh. A large beaver dam dam has flooded almost 20 acres to create the buttonbush swamp, where muskats, beaver and a variety of waterfowl live. At present, there are limited trails for walking and hiking, but it is popular as a seasonal hunting park.
